For the 33rd year, the Manila International Book Fair brings book lovers and those hard-to-find titles (including the usual disposable teen vampire novels) together under one roof. The 2012 MIBF opens its doors to the public today and will be the one place to get books of all categories that you just can’t get from the usual haunts.
We will pay a visit tomorrow and come back with a report on what’s going on, etc. And for those who don’t know, CSM Publishing will again be selling books for P100 (yes, everything for 100 pesos only) at their booth all throughout the duration of the Book Fair. They will also launch several new titles tomorrow night at 6.
I’ve been making trips to the MIBF since 1995 and it’s always BEST to go on a weekday right after doors open because you’ll a have better time browsing and moving around the booths. But I guess you already know that, don’t you?
